My first go at a hand knitted modern cloth nappy cover :)

I think it needs lining and I don’t want to hand knit the lining.  Read something about the um…..”number 2s” sticking to wool somewhat.  This one will have to be hand washed though as it is unfelted.  Planning on trying one made one size up and felted to see how that goes.  Felting will save having to hand wash the covers and re-lanilise them every so often. 

Not sure if I’ll stick with the buttons or change to velcro.  Going to try it and see.  Will definitely fold those leg bands over though and put some elastic in them.  We don’t want any leaks!   Pattern is a ravelry one.  I didn’t want to reinvent the wheel but I may have to tweak a few things.  http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/little-seedling-soaker
